This small driveway has been the home of the Quantum for around 5/6 years. It drove to the Netherlands just before Brexit, and was then parked here awaiting restoration. Now, as it (obviously) doesn’t have a valid APK (MOT for UK readers) I couldn’t simply drive it away.
The seller of the car had a friend with a car trailer, so that made transporting the car much easier. Here you can see a black hard top fitted, unfortunatly for me the seller wanted to keep it for his own car. I got an old soft top for it instead.
Here it is loaded on the trailer. A bit of a squeeze but she managed to fit. It weights only around 800kg so that was no issue.
The next day. It arrived! oh what a beauty. We immediately got to work looking through the car and giving it a pressure wash.
The paint still looks like crap, but at least it’s clean now. More updates are on the way!
